Something in my mind

There is something in my mind that I could not express. There is something telling me but I could not hear the voice. I wanted to listen but I hear nothing. I want to know what is deep inside my mind. It is telling me something that I wish I would know but I could not figure it out. I wish some one will tell me because I am really puzzled. Maybe I am just tired and I need rest.

Maybe some of you have experienced the feeling I have felt. I know its kind of weird to tell this, but I really want to know what is behind my mind. Its just that there is something that I want to do and there is something that I am looking for. Maybe that is the word, there is something I am looking for but I do not know what I am looking for. Could someone please help me?

I am a melancholic type of person, melancholic people are most often feel that way, no wonder I felt that. But that is not an excuse. I think there is some thing more about that - being melancholic and I need to figure it out. The problem is how to begin and where, what to do and what do I need to know? I think its hopeless even if I will consider the fact of being a melancholic.

To those who do not know what melancholic is, I will just state a few and research of your own. Melancholy is one of the four types of personality called Temperament. There are four common/major classifications of temperament: (a)Choleric (b)Melacholic (c)Sanguin and (d) ______ I forgot the last one. Deng! Who ever can tell me the fourth one (by sending me an email: piojunbabia@yahoo.com), I will do what ever you want as long as it is possible for me. Post a comment to this post that you have sent me an email containing an answer. Please.

Anyway, so thats it, that is what I feel right now. Can anyone please help me about what I feel now? Its not just a feeling but a reality of my identity.

Like A River That Flows

I am not sure where this river is. I believe this is Davao. Besides, I did not take this photo. I am not quite sure who took this photo but I know who owned this. He is my friend whom I have not met for almost a year already. His name is Herbert and he is one of my close friend, in fact best friend. But we have not heard from each other lately. About two days ago, he sent me a private message on friendster asking how I was doing. I replied and I did not received his reply yet. He is now busy with his work as an electrical engineer somewhere in Bugo. I miss his company and I wish we could spend our time together again.

Cebu Invasion

One of the most famous land mark of Cebu City - the Magellan's Cross, is one of the pit stop we had on you tour to Cebu City. The place was so clean and nice, with so many tourist both Foreign and Filipino like us as well who took pictures of this nice place. Not only nice but also significant in the eyes of historians since this area is also a historic place.

This photo, starring me, is a proof and most of all a remembrance that I have been to this place. This will be one of my most treasured photo in my life. I mean one. With a burned image of the Blessed Mother behind me and the big Cross which was one of the attractions of the place including the paintings on the ceiling which completes the scene. This photo, by my sister, is perfectly shot and I like how is was being shot except for the sun.

Behind this historical spot is another beautiful place full of the grandeur of Catholicism. The Church of Santo Niño. The Church is old but I do not know when it was built. It has traditional setup naming the altar (but not the altar table), the images and statues of the saints, and the architectural setup of the church has been maintained.

I like the place very much. I think and I believe that this is my most favorite place in Cebu not counting those I have not visited. Beside this place, we have been to SM.... whew, not much place. I thought we will be staying there for day but unfortunately, Our stay lasted for more than 12 hours only.

We arrived in Cebu International Airport at around 7:30 in the morning. Our plans is to go to Mactan Island to see Andres Bonifacio there live! Oh, I'm sorry I mean Lapulapu, standing naked. Unfortunately, we had no transportation and and so we went to the house instead where my sister is boarding. We wasted so much time there. Wasting time eating. Laugh Out Loud! We do not have much food!

After that we went to anonymous place. Anonymous because I don't want to mention place. Place like SM, Shopping Mall, Shoe Mart, Super Maket, Sulod sa Merkado, Sa Min, Si Mario, Super Mario, Super Man, Sa Market, So Many more.... we wasted time riding a public vehicle and traffic is unforgivable even with confession. I was so sleepy all day since I never sleep the night before that.

To make this short story a little shorter, we (my father, mother and me excluding my 2 sisters and niece) went to the pier or ship port, or ship terminal or whatever you call it at around 6:30pm to sail home towards Cagayan de Oro. The ship will depart at 8pm. We had dinner inside. Arrived home at 4:30am. bleh!

Trip to Cebu

I will go to Cebu City tomorrow together with my family. Our departure time is 6am. That is December 10, 2008. This will be my second time in Cebu. What do I expect to see there? Well I expect to see the same place since my last visit was less than a month ago.

My first visit in Cebu was last March during Holy week, I mean after Holy Week, that was Easter Monday. I spent my week end in Iloilo with intense silence since I was spending my time on a seminary.... I am not a seminarian, I was just invited to visit the place to spend the holy week there. I was good but the noise of silence broke my eardrum. It was fun though.

Now, my second visit to Cebu, I think it would be a nice one since I will be with my family and with my sister working there. Actually I don't know what to expect. I will just go there and see for myself.

I Am Changing My Blogger Template.

One of the primary reasons why I don't post much or don't post much often on my blog is because, I don't like my template anymore... (hmmm...that's not a reason....that's an alibi lol) Besides of being busy out side the internet ( I mean in the real world) I am also doing some other things aside from blogging...I'll just keep it a secret and if you really want to know why, what makes me busy in the internet... uhmmm then ask me privately... my email address is piojunbabia@yahoo.com. My YM is also online but not too often, don't worry I can receive your message because I check it daily.

Another factor of not posting post in this blog more often is that, I feel discourage when i see that no one is patronizing my post nor my blog. I think I have no readers and I felt like this blog seems to be useless and worthless. Maybe I do not know how to write well and maybe my penmanship is bad. Or maybe I have a bad breath? I don't think so. Or maybe ugly template...lol... I dont know... So that's it....

So another that's it.... that's it because I am changing my template...so some gadgets will be removed...

Now I have removed most of my gadgets... and I failed to install my new template..Gonna look for another one....

Do not worry I have the copies of all the links of my blogrolls and rolled blogs...hehehe..tI have also the copy for the list of my gadgets including the metas, scripts, and htmls...his is also a way to remove xlinks that are inactive....gotta ping me to reinstall the link.

New Blog

I have created a new blog. It is called http://gma7show.blogspot.com. I have created that blog because I watch this tv more often times and it seems that when I watch some programs, I can't stop myself commenting so.... here is a few on the "about" of that blog.

This blog is about the shows in GMA7. I am certified Kapuso and I watch GMA 7 a couple of hours a day. Sometimes when I watch TV, comments regarding the show is inevitable and more often I find it hard to tell or express those comments of suggestion or any other with regards to that so I have created this blog for that purposes.

I am a GMA watcher, though I also watch often times on other network, I spend much more time on watching GMA 7. So this blog is about my comments and everything about the GMA 7 tv shows.

In this photo, it doesn't look attractive but when you try to look at the real actual place, it seems to be fascinating and you would want to grasp the depth of its beauty. I felt dismay when I see the result of the photo when it was not that attractive as what I see there. In fact, I don't want to post this photo in this blog but I was thinking that it would be better to post this for remembrance because I am deleting this picture on my hard drive. A Featured Blog

In relation to my previous post entitled My Catholic Faith which was a poem composed by none other than myself, I am featuring a blog whose creator are Traditional Catholics from Cagayan de Oro City and that happens to be my place.... Yes I joined them in fact I am with them. They are also members of the Legion of Mary in which I myself is a devout Marian.

The Society of Saint Pius X is a priestly congregation founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre who has no really intention of establishing a priestly congregation. But for the request of the many who are devoted to the Catholic faith wanted him to stand up and eventually founded a congregation. The purpose of this priestly congregation is to preserve the Catholic tradition and to continue the Catholic priestly ministry and stand againsts the modern errors of Vatican. The society has never invented something new with regards to Catholic faith in morals and doctrine thus promoting the infallible doctrines of Catholic faith.

The Society of Saint Pius X in Cagayan de Oro started about 2004 and it has been 4 years now that the society is celebrating the older version of the Mass which is called the Tridentine Mass. Their group has slowly gaining popularity since they also have a friendster account(http://profiles.friendster.com/traditionalcatholicssspx) to invite people to the Mass. Survivor Philippines

Who amongst you do watch Survivor Philippines?(Among Filipinos of course, or including non - Filipinos who are a fan of Survivor in any country) For me I say that there is something wrong with that reality TV and I believe that it is somewhat deceiving. And who are deceived? Us of course.

Before the official airing of Survivor Philippines in GMA7, the list of castaways has been introduced to us through GMA7 of course. All castaways are from different parts of the Philippines and we noticed that there are Cebuanos and tagalogs.

After i think 21 days(?) of survival in the island, many things happen. More information on these sites: SurvivorPhilippines.com(blog) SurvivorPhilippines.org(blog) SurvivorPhilippines.tv (official website), the normal ups and downs in the show and the inevitable conflicts between each castaways. But there is one man that caught my attention. Who is this man named Marlon Carmen? In the show, he is showing a clever and a bad image. And yet he survived that long. I don't question his long survival in the show. But my question is, why is he showing a negative attitude towards each castaway and to many viewers in the Philippines as well. Have you seen how he is interviewed during each episode? He seems to be unique in the show.

As far as I know, the producers have planned to get 16 castaways only. Later, they have decided to add two more castaways to make it eighteen. For me I think that they only needed one castaway. A castaway that is only "add on" to the show. But to make it even, they made it to add two more to sum up to 18. This "add on" character is a "CON ARTIST" or confidence artist added to spice up the show. I am referring to no other than Marlon. I really believe that he is just an actor inside the show. Look at him how he acted and his internal behavior, that is not quite normal for a normal castaway. Believe me he is just an actor!

Today, Friday November 7, 2008. Time for voting out one castaway on the night of tribal council. The votes are pointing to Marlon vs Kiko evenly with four votes each. The last vote will be declared on Monday, Nov10. I am willing to bet that Kiko is out of the game! I also believe that the votes are manipulated by the Survivor staff to make the show thrilling!

I might be wrong with my intuition, but I am 95% sure about this. If ever I am wrong, I will edit this post and add notes for my apology to Marlon and to the Survivor staff.

New President Barack Obama

I have posted some days ago about the life of Barack Obama. As far as I know, Obama is leading in the surveys for US presidential candidate. Even in months ago, his name is already fragrant in many sorts of media most especially the Internet. Some months ago, while I was not yet blogging and all I do in the Internet is just surfing, searching and do many sorts of Internet stuffs. I usually go to YouTube and watch many videos. One time I came to a channel of Mr Dan Brown on YouTube and I notice he is somewhat 'endorsing' the presidential candidate Obama. Here is one of his recent videos about why he is voting Barack Obama as the president:

Obama's name is already spread all over the world via Internet and I have watched in the News that Obama spent much more money in doing campaigns in whatever ways. Another thing is that this Dan Brown has influenced much on his viewers and if you try to see how much viewers he gain in You Tube, the number is significant. What I am trying to say is that Obama has made a good campaigning strategies compared to McCain. Other than that, Obama's platform is quite better than McCain (subjective point of view) though McCain is more experienced in most things considering the fact that he is a war veteran, etc.

Life is ironic. Look at Bush, he gained much votes from American citizens, disregarding the possibility of cheat, but on the latter part of his term, many hated him and wanted him ousted! Would Obama be like Bush later? or will he do better or worse than Bush? Nah! what ever it is, I don't care because politics are always dirty whether or not the politician's intentions are good or not. Corruption is inevitable.

All Saints Day

It is sad to know that the Feast of All Saints is understood differently be so many people especially by Catholics. I really don't know what they think about this feast but for clarification, I give this short background about this feast.


All Saints' Day (also called All Hallows or Hallowmas), often shortened to All Saints, is a feast celebrated on November 1 in Western Christianity, and on the first Sunday after Pentecost in Eastern Christianity in honour of all the saints, known and unknown. In terms of Roman Catholic theology, the feast commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in heaven, while the next day, All Souls' Day, commemorates the departed faithful who have not yet been purified and reached heaven.

In the early Church, Christians would celebrate the anniversary of a martyr's death for Christ (known as the saint's "birth day") by serving an All-Night Vigil, and then celebrating the Eucharist over their tomb or the shrine at their place of martyrdom. In the fourth century, neighbouring dioceses began to transfer relics, and to celebrate the feast days of specific martyrs in common. Frequently, a number of Christians would suffer martyrdom on the same day, which naturally led to a joint commemoration. In the persecution of Diocletian the number of martyrs became so great that a separate day could not be assigned to each. But the Church, feeling that every martyr should be venerated, appointed a common day for all.

A commemoration of "All Martyrs" began to be celebrated as early as the year 270, although no specific month or date is mentioned in existing records. The first trace of a general celebration on a specific day is attested in Antioch on the Sunday after Pentecost There is mention of a common day in a sermon of St. Ephrem the Syrian (373), and the custom is also referred to in the 74th Homily of St. John Chrysostom (†407), who speaks of a "feast of martyrs of the whole world." As early as 411, there is found among the Chaldean Christians a general commemoration of all Confessors (Commemoratio Confessorum), celebrated on the Friday after Easter.

I am an Experienced Driver

I am an 'experienced driver'. What do I mean by this statement? I also call this day, October 30 as the fifth anniversary of being an 'experienced driver'. Yes today, I am celebrating my 5th Anniversary for being such. Why? why? and why? I don't want to tell coz I feel ashamed.. hehehe

Five years ago I was driving (my father's) motor bike, later we share the same bike because he used 4 wheel most of the time, so I am using the two-wheel. A Yamaha DT, color red and some few sticker designs and some cool stuffs decorated. I am a motor enthusiast (I was) and I drive a little fast and I can put my speed at the highest depending on the motor's speed limit. I don't drag race but I race with many motorist in the highway. Although I must admit that I drive very proud and confident, though I am not a really a big guy, I am pretty sure that I drive with extra care and with total vigilance and of course watchful eyes.

On that day, an unexpected private Jeep made a quick U turn with out making a signal. With my super speed, the brake won't catch the distance and I hit his bumper and broke my leg, my right leg and disabled me to walk for about half a year or more. I was rushed to the hospital. I thought I'd be losing my leg but it was fixed.

The experience that I had made me realize that maybe I was too proud or over confident in driving. Maybe it was a lesson for me to drive slower. Five years had already passed now and somehow, the memory of that incident is slowly vanishing. I mean the trauma is vanishing but the memory will always be there until I die.

Barack Hussein Obama

I don't give a packing sheet about US politics since I am not an American in the first place. At this moment when the US election is fast approaching, the intensity of political campaigns have been raised by these two US presidential candidates. Statistics count that Obama is in lead and most probably will win in the US president's chair.

Barack Hussein Obama II (pronounced /bəˈrɑːk hʊˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/; born August 4, 1961) born in Honolulu Hawaii, USA, is the junior United States Senator from Illinois and presidential nominee of the Democratic Party in the 2008 United States presidential election.

Obama is the first African American to be nominated by a major political party for president.[1] A graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review, Obama worked as a community organizer and practiced as a civil rights attorney before serving three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. He taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. Following an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he announced his campaign for the U.S. Senate in January 2003. After a primary victory in March 2004, Obama delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004. He was elected to the Senate in November 2004 with 70 percent of the vote.

As a member of the Democratic minority in the 109th Congress, he helped create legislation to control conventional weapons and to promote greater public accountability in the use of federal funds. He also made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. During the 110th Congress, he helped create legislation regarding lobbying and electoral fraud, climate change, nuclear terrorism, and care for returned U.S. military personnel. Obama announced his presidential campaign in February 2007, and was formally nominated at the 2008 Democratic National Convention with Delaware senator Joe Biden as his running mate.

He is a member of Illinois State from the 13th district and running under Democratic party VS his opponent McCain as Republican. His wife Michelle with their two daughters Malia Ann and Natasha. They live in Kenwood, Chicago, Illinois. Obama is a lawyer by profession and a politician at the same time. His religion is United Church of Christ.

Why I posted this? I really don't have political inclination and I am not even knowledgeable in our local politics counting that I also am not involving myself in school's student government ie. not giving votes or any participation to student government. I just want to tell others that I am disappointed to many politicians who are totally.......... never mind... I am not promoting him neither his counter part John McCain coz both are...never mind... Thanks to all....

Bit Defender Anti Virus

A friend suggested to me that I need to have a new post on my blog and he suggested that I should feature about the anti virus I am now using with my impressions and my satisfactions regarding my anti virus. Some months ago, I am not sure what anti virus to use. I have Norton, AVG, PC-cilllin and many others. Just recently, another friend of mine asked me to rate something on his poll. The poll was asking: What do you think is the best anti-virus? unfortunately I was not able to follow up the poll result becuase he deleted or renamed his url blog - I am not sure what happened.

Prior to answering his poll, he asked me personally, what anti virus I am presently using? I said, Avira because it was free and suggested by another friend. So he asked me to try BitDefender. I asked "why?" "try and see!" was his answer. So I did tried BitDefender.

BitDefender is an antivirus software suite developed by Bucharest-based software company SOFTWIN. It was launched in November 2001,[1] and is currently in its eleventh version. BitDefender replaced SOFTWIN's earlier AVX (AntiVirus eXpert) product range. The BitDefender group spins off from SOFTWIN in 2007. The BitDefender range includes antivirus products for home users, businesses, enterprise users and Internet service providers. Home editions support Microsoft Windows, Symbian OS, Windows Mobile and Mac OS X (Beta); business and enterprise editions support Microsoft Windows, Linux and FreeBSD. The current version of the Home/Home Office security suite includes antivirus, anti-spyware, firewall, e-mail spam filtering, backup, tune-up and parental control components. A free basic online scan is offered via the BitDefender website.

Reviews for BitDefender have been largely positive, and the home version of the suite was given the PC Answers editor's choice award in a comparative review in May 2007. As of June 2007, BitDefender has passed Virus Bulletin's VB100 independent tests 14 times out of 18 since first tested in 2002. It has also achieved an advanced certification from AV Comparatives for on-demand scanning, and standard level certification for catching unknown viruses, though was criticised for its slower scanning speed and higher instances of false positives. It is also the least expensive option from the top three antivirus solutions, as ranked by PC World.

Older versions of BitDefender are made available for free download when newer versions are released. The first version which was made freely available was version 8. As of November 2007, version 10 of BitDefender is freely available for download. Unlike the commercial version, the free version only offers an on-demand virus scan, and doesn't provide real time scanning, and may therefore, be less suitable for machines with continuous connection to the internet.

PTC on Blogs

Warning to those bloggers who have PTC promotion on their blog and having google adsense at the same time. I was about to promote my referrals on PTC and akin but a friend of mine from blog sphere reminded me that we are prohibited to place ads on sites that include incentives on ads. He told me that he also had a friend who violated this rule by google adsense and eventually banned after cash out.

I am Reformating my PC

My PC is running slow and it is affecting my internet speed connection. I have installed too many unnecessary programs and it also crawls down the speed of my PC. In the previous days I was downloading vidoes and it will take me only about 20minutes to download a 100MB file and now, it wont even proceed to 20MB download complete. So I can no longer download a movie as of now. I have no other solutions in my mind to resolve this problem o my PC but to format it.

A Strange Astrological Rumor

A Just a few minutes ago, I received a text message saying that there will be an extraordinary phenomena that will occur on October 17, 2008, a continuous darkess for one and a half days. That is about 36 hours. This is the exact text message I recieved:

"This coming October 17, 2008 the sun will rise continuously for  36hrs (1.5days). During this time the American Countries will be dark for 1.5days. It will convert 3days into 2 big days. It will happen once in 2400 years. We're very lucky to see this. This s a global phenomenon...

After recieving this text message, I immediately made a quick research in the internet and found out this is hoax! "This rumor appears to have come from India, so it means to say that the sun will rise for 36 hours over India, and the Americas..." more details here. Probably you will be recieving the same text message or email in the near future or had already been sent to you. So if ever you receive this message, you may ignore it. I personally would say that this is truly hoax. Thanks and God bless!

Heroes - my Favorite

Heroes Season 3 or Volume 3 had already been aired in NBC premiered last September 22, 2008. This TV series is my favorite TV show above all list. I like it very much because it enables my imagination to play like a kid thinking about super natural powers childlikely. Since the start during when I have discovered this and watched the first season/volume until season 2 in DVD, I watch it uncontrolably straight and almost without a break. Watch it like a movie marathon and it doesn't tire me. :) 

Heroes Season 3 is now aired weekly on Mondays. Now I have made short summary per episode (see I'm really a great fan for this) on my other blog. It can be read here. I don't watch it on NBC instead I download it from some sites http://thecoolwebsite.co.uk once every episode. I also download weekly because they upload it weekly since it is aired weekly.

One of ny favorite song is sung by Kenny Rogers and Anne Murray entitled: If I Ever Fall In Love Again...

I remember in my younger days listening to this song. I don't even understand what it meant but I really like its tune and melody. I think, if my memory is working well, I started to hear this song when I was about six or seven years old. It was a long way ago and still this song remains my favorite even until now. Though I have many other more favorites, this one is one of those. This song I think will never die for this is written with true sincerity of heart by its author, maybe Kenny Rogers himself. It is also created with perfect talent of music unlike the music in this modern times. I could say full of crap!

Yesterday, I downloaded a movie from some movie sharing sites in the internet. Movies can be downloaded in http://thecoolwebsite.co.uk. Immediately after the download was complete, I, together with my brother, sister and niece watch the movie Transformer. I did have fun wtching it because it was so cool.

Transformers is a 2007 live-action film adaptation of the Transformers franchise, directed by Michael Bay and written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. It stars Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky, a teenager involved in a war between the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons, two factions of alien robots who can disguise themselves by transforming into everyday machinery. The Decepticons desire control of the All Spark, the object that created their robotic race, with the intention of using it to build an army by giving life to the machines of Earth. Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson,Jon Voight and John Turturro also star, while Peter Cullen and Hugo Weaving provide the voices ofOptimus Prime and Megatron respectively. Producers Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto developed the project in 2003, with a treatment written by DeSanto.
