Open Office vs Microsoft Office

Some of you may have not known the difference between the two, I am writing this not for you so I assume you already have an idea what is the difference between the two. As we all know the Microsoft Office has reached its peak. Well as far as our present technology is concerned for I am assuming that there will still be upgrades and improvements that it will undergo. Now looking at Open Open Office, we cannot blame the authors for the project is Free and Open Source. But at least they have to do competitive work. So that the Open Source world will eventually rule.

I am an avid Ubuntu user. But the thing that I do not like about being in Ubuntu is that I cannot use a good word processor at least in interface. Not unless if I have a Wine installed perfectly with out lag running on my system. In my case, Wine can't help. Choosing either of the two under Microsoft environment is easy. You may answer me, "Microsoft Office of course!" And we have a variety of choices, XP, 2007 or 2010 or higher. I'll ask you, would you use Open Office than Microsoft Office, granting you have license? I bet we have the same answer. Unless you are one of Open Office developer ("patronize your own"), or you may have personal reasons of your choice.

What's my point? All I wanted is that Open Office be upgraded. It cannot be done without good developers to help out.

Google Docs have now activated Document Pagination

If you are a Google Docs user, you might be disappointed to see that the document you are doing do not have visual page break. That is you cannot "see" the next page (just like what we see in MS Word/ Open Office) Now, they have enabled the pagination and that is a big thing for me or maybe for you!

Google spend 2 months testing for this. Good job Google!

Nexus Tablet to be made by LG?

We all are familiar with Nexus phone by Google, one of the rival for iPhone (4?) as to date. But recently I heard some rumor that Google will have a team up with LG to make a Nexus Tablet. What's that supposed to mean? well, another leap of technology would bring about. I expect it to me more advance than what Google Nexus S has to offer. Of course! Although I personally prefer iPhone 4 over Nexus S. I hope they will outwit the iPhone 4!

Malware Fixed

Just few weeks ago, my blog (this blog) will redirect you to a page. Sorry I was not able to take a screen shot. In the redirection page, it says my blog contain Malware. I have this message on that page:

Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else.

I suspected that it is in many script. I removed many of them. Adsense, chatbox, and many more. I did not notice one script, an ad script brought by Smotion. I removed it and viola, its back to normal. Lesson learn, do not put many things on your blog. Make sure you trust the script.

4. Write your own site reviews on the top 100 rated Alexa sites and include your redirect URL. 5. Download the Alexa ranking button, traffic history graph, info links, and other traffic counters onto the page of your website that receives the most traffic. So if you’re not in the top 100,000, site stats would not be available.

6. Take an inexpensive advertisement out on the ExactSeek search directory for only a few dollars per month at ExactSeek.com Search engine results are directly correlated with Alexa rankings. You’ll notice that if a website is highly ranked on ExactSeek, chances are that it will be highly ranked on Alexa.

7. Get listed on as many search engines as possible by placing a free listing in DMOZ. This is the largest human edited directory on the web and is co-branded among hundreds of thousands of sites. Be patient though, it often takes up to 5 months before you see your website listed after submission. Even though it takes longer than it should, you have little say in the matter because it’s so widely used across the Internet.

These simple Alexa strategies are easy to implement and will make a huge difference in your Alexa ranking. Ultimately you want visitors to do more than visit your home page, you want them to interact with your site. Be sure to optimize your home page for SEO purposes, ease of use, and interaction. Creating a positive user experience will get visitors to return again and again.

Giant Cave Discovered In Vietnam

It is very nice to take a look at nature especially the scenes are not easily found nearby. In Vietnam, a cave named Son Doong Cave is considered one of the most biggest cave in the world. A joint British-Vietnamese team have explored the cave in April, found an underground river running through the first 2.5 kilometers of limestone ground and stalagmites that are 230 feet high. Reportedly skyscrapers could fit in to these caves of Vietnam.

Roof Top

The only way to the roof top is through the bathroom. By rooftop, I mean, above the roof. Is that is it called? Whatever. Anyway, yes. Last night, I went to the roof through bathroom. I stayed for about an hour and I finished 15 decades. Nobody knew I was there and I don't want anyone know I went there. Though it won't make a difference if someone would.

Before ascending, I purposely unlocked to bathroom's door and turned off the lights to make impression that no one is using the room. Yes, every body thinks no one is using. So when I descended, I should pretend that I am using the room by turning the lights on and locking the door. But right after I turned on the lights and right before I locked the door, my mom budged in thinking no one is inside but she was surprised to see me. She thought no one is inside but there I was totally there. Good thing I was not naked.

Cats Has Nine Lives?

I love cats, well I love dogs too. One day, I found a cute kitten, I believe it's only weeks old. She plays around and likes me. I give her food, that's why she likes me. Then I decided to bring her home. On her first day, she was good. That night, I prepared her some food and set her aside. Then later an old cat who used to come to our kitchen to steal some food. I don't know who owned this cat but this cat is really annoying.

Maybe this cat is jealous to my new kitty kitty. So she tried to take the cat on her head using this cat's big mouth ( I don't know this cat's gender). Upon seeing what the cat did to my kitty, I scared it away. So she failed to bring the kitten along. Soon when I tried to check on the kitty, she seems, hurt and seems like.... she had heart attack. What?! At her age she had that? And do cats have that ailments? Strange.

Eventually, the kitten died, maybe due to suffocation, I don't know. I wanted to do CPR but hey! She's a cat! My cousin and my sister who were witness rejected the theory "Cats have nine lives!"
