Open Office vs Microsoft Office

Some of you may have not known the difference between the two, I am writing this not for you so I assume you already have an idea what is the difference between the two. As we all know the Microsoft Office has reached its peak. Well as far as our present technology is concerned for I am assuming that there will still be upgrades and improvements that it will undergo. Now looking at Open Open Office, we cannot blame the authors for the project is Free and Open Source. But at least they have to do competitive work. So that the Open Source world will eventually rule.

I am an avid Ubuntu user. But the thing that I do not like about being in Ubuntu is that I cannot use a good word processor at least in interface. Not unless if I have a Wine installed perfectly with out lag running on my system. In my case, Wine can't help. Choosing either of the two under Microsoft environment is easy. You may answer me, "Microsoft Office of course!" And we have a variety of choices, XP, 2007 or 2010 or higher. I'll ask you, would you use Open Office than Microsoft Office, granting you have license? I bet we have the same answer. Unless you are one of Open Office developer ("patronize your own"), or you may have personal reasons of your choice.

What's my point? All I wanted is that Open Office be upgraded. It cannot be done without good developers to help out.

Google Docs have now activated Document Pagination

If you are a Google Docs user, you might be disappointed to see that the document you are doing do not have visual page break. That is you cannot "see" the next page (just like what we see in MS Word/ Open Office) Now, they have enabled the pagination and that is a big thing for me or maybe for you!

Google spend 2 months testing for this. Good job Google!

We all are familiar with Nexus phone by Google, one of the rival for iPhone (4?) as to date. But recently I heard some rumor that Google will have a team up with LG to make a Nexus Tablet. What's that supposed to mean? well, another leap of technology would bring about. I expect it to me more advance than what Google Nexus S has to offer. Of course! Although I personally prefer iPhone 4 over Nexus S. I hope they will outwit the iPhone 4!

Just few weeks ago, my blog (this blog) will redirect you to a page. Sorry I was not able to take a screen shot. In the redirection page, it says my blog contain Malware. I have this message on that page:

I suspected that it is in many script. I removed many of them. Adsense, chatbox, and many more. I did not notice one script, an ad script brought by Smotion. I removed it and viola, its back to normal. Lesson learn, do not put many things on your blog. Make sure you trust the script.

You’ll notice that if a website is highly ranked on ExactSeek, chances are that it will be highly ranked on Alexa.

7. Get listed on as many search engines as possible by placing a free listing in DMOZ. This is the largest human edited directory on the web and is co-branded among hundreds of thousands of sites. Be patient though, it often takes up to 5 months before you see your website listed after submission. Even though it takes longer than it should, you have little say in the matter because it’s so widely used across the Internet.

These simple Alexa strategies are easy to implement and will make a huge difference in your Alexa ranking. Ultimately you want visitors to do more than visit your home page, you want them to interact with your site. Be sure to optimize your home page for SEO purposes, ease of use, and interaction. Creating a positive user experience will get visitors to return again and again.

Giant Cave Discovered In Vietnam

It is very nice to take a look at nature especially the scenes are not easily found nearby. In Vietnam, a cave named Son Doong Cave is considered one of the most biggest cave in the world. A joint British-Vietnamese team have explored the cave in April, found an underground river running through the first 2.5 kilometers of limestone ground and stalagmites that are 230 feet high. Reportedly skyscrapers could fit in to these caves of Vietnam.

The only way to the roof top is through the bathroom. By rooftop, I mean, above the roof. Is that is it called? Whatever. Anyway, yes. Last night, I went to the roof through bathroom. I stayed for about an hour and I finished 15 decades. Nobody knew I was there and I don't want anyone know I went there. Though it won't make a difference if someone would.

Before ascending, I purposely unlocked to bathroom's door and turned off the lights to make impression that no one is using the room. Yes, every body thinks no one is using. So when I descended, I should pretend that I am using the room by turning the lights on and locking the door. But right after I turned on the lights and right before I locked the door, my mom budged in thinking no one is inside but she was surprised to see me. She thought no one is inside but there I was totally there. Good thing I was not naked.

Cats Has Nine Lives?

I love cats, well I love dogs too. One day, I found a cute kitten, I believe it's only weeks old. She plays around and likes me. I give her food, that's why she likes me. Then I decided to bring her home. On her first day, she was good. That night, I prepared her some food and set her aside. Then later an old cat who used to come to our kitchen to steal some food. I don't know who owned this cat but this cat is really annoying.

Maybe this cat is jealous to my new kitty kitty. So she tried to take the cat on her head using this cat's big mouth ( I don't know this cat's gender). Upon seeing what the cat did to my kitty, I scared it away. So she failed to bring the kitten along. Soon when I tried to check on the kitty, she seems, hurt and seems like.... she had heart attack. What?! At her age she had that? And do cats have that ailments? Strange.

Eventually, the kitten died, maybe due to suffocation, I don't know. I wanted to do CPR but hey! She's a cat! My cousin and my sister who were witness rejected the theory "Cats have nine lives!"

When I was still in college, I had the passion about paintings through canvas using oil or coal or maybe pastel. I have always been eying joining one of the biggest extra curricular organization in college. The Circulo de Arte where most of my friends are there. When I tried to join the 'org', the nickname for organization, of course a talent is a pre requisite! My bad! I am only an art admirer whom cannot make a good art. I am not even very good at simple drawing. My friends who are members on the 'org' always bully me for being with them but yet I am not like them. What can I do? I am a musician who also loves painting. I have tried what they have done but yet, all my 'master pieces' looked like scratch!

Well, there is a gallery in the internet where, again as I said earlier, provide quality paintings! Although some of the paintings there are salacious, well that's art! PacMan beats Hatton at round 2?

Every Filipino became excited for the day PacMan vs Hatton fight to come. Yesterday, May 3, is the most await day and it finally come. I have no plans to watch the live fight but I only planned to watch through the delayed telecast by GMA 7. But yes! I made it watch the live fight at Gaisano Food court for a cheap price.

The crowd got wild on round 1 when PacMan forced Hatton to fall on his knees not only once but twice. On his second fall, the round was about to end when the flapping 10-second clue made a sound. Yeah! before the first ended, Hatton's face is already like a tomato. When the second round ended, finally Hatton fell asleep when Manny hit Hatton's jaw. It seems like he forgot where he was for a short period of time. That was a great achievement for Manny raising to the next division, the Mayweight Division.

For me, I did not expect the fight to end as fast as that. just like what Manny has said in the interview. Judging at Hatton's stance, he seems to be very solid but during the actual fight, he seems thin and he seems he never had practice at all. We could not say that it was a miss match. Both of them had enough time for preparations. Truly PacMan is a great fighter and all of us is proud of him.

After we have moved from one house to another, there should be things that are new. Pidgin Alternative for Yahoo Messenger

I got very disappointed that I was not able to install yahoo messenger version 9, or even the lower versions of it. I got error message while installing and I don't know how to deal with the error message. There several alternatives I know when we cannot install yahoo messenger. I will mention only what I know.

First of all, yahoo made upgrades for yahoo mail. That is having a yahoo messenger embedded on yahoo mail itself. Well you can chat while opening your email.
Second is going to the website: http://webmessenger.yahoo.com. You can login to your yahoo messenger using that site, however, you can login to one account same as the account you are opening on your yahoo mail.
The third one I know is similar to yahoo messenger but it is a multi-user client. And at the same time you can login also to other protocol like yahoo, AIM, google talk, MSN and many more. You can login to many accounts all at the same time. It is called Pidgin

Recently I was very worried that my computer is running so slow. That is why the other day, I have decided to format by hard disk to have a fresh operating system. The first thing that I did is to make back up for the files saved on my computer. I only used a 2Gig USB data storage and I saved some of them in the internet. The others were saved in a CD-R. After that I restarted my computer and inserted my Windows XP in the CDROM. To my unluck, I lost my serial number. It took me hours to look for it. And in the next day, I found it. I got relieve to see it, I thought I will never find it. Another misfortune is that my installer have corrupted files in it. Maybe because I was not able store the CD in a proper and safe place so it went corrupted, I don't know really. Then I have no other choice but to buy a new installer. So I went to the market this afternoon and looked for one. Then I bought it immediately, and headed for home. To make it short, the installation process was so quick. Now my computer is now working properly. As of now I am still installing stuffs and doing my routinary work in the internet. But with out yahoo messenger. I got error message after installing it.. :( So that's all folks. Just a news from me.. Thank you for reading.

Yesterday was the Baccalaureate Mass and this afternoon was the Commencement Exercise for the graduation of my sister who took Development Communication in Xavier University. I am proud for my sister that she finally finished the last step of education life however, that if she will not proceed to any Masteral Courses. We are happy to see her finished most especially my mother who endlessly sponsoring her to her sucess. It is odd calling Him "Bro" or a slang word for Brother. In Philippine Local TV Drama Series aired On ABS CBN entitled: "May Bukas Pa" (In English There is Still Tomorrow). The story is similar or perhaps based on the story or Marcelino Pan Y Vino(IMDb) which was a religious story. May Bukas Pa is in our local Philippine language and might be available in other countries through the internet. The Cast of the show namely Santino (Zaijan Jaranilla), Enrique Rodrigo (Albert Martinez), Malena (Dina Bonnevie), Mario (Tonton Gutierrez),Selda (Precious Lara Quigaman), Cocoy (Rayver Cruz), and many more. Santino as the main Cast portrayed by Zaijan Jaranilla is a kind-hearted but clever young boy. Longing for the love of his real mother, he will find a friend in mysterious person he calls as ‘Bro.’ In the story, Santino appears to be some kind of a little saint who shows miracles in places nearby. He healed many sickness and perhaps casts out demons ( I don't watch the show, I saw only previews). Many people are inspired by his simplicity and humility and most of all his being childlike. The other day, I was watching TV with my niece. The TV show we were watching is Sponge Bob Square Pants. Recently 02: Failure

My cousin came to me to ask help. Being so proud to myself, I accepted her request without any benefit for myself. "Sure! Why not?! I could do it" I told her. She knows I am inclined to computers better than anyone else in our family so she never doubted coming to me. What does she want me to do? Very simple, she just want to edit movies, cut some clips from different movies and compile them into one single movie file. She only have DVD movies so she wanted it to convert to any movie format so that she can edit it using windows movie maker. She advised me to convert it to .avi format or if not any other format which movie maker could edit it.

So after she gave me everything I need to start, where I started to work it late at night and my due will be on 7 on that morning, it was very late for me to do. But still I need to finish it. There are seven movies she wanted me to convert, at least to convert only. But I converted only four out of seven. I slept at around 5 in the morning but I did not finish it all. I got frustrated with such a failure, though I did my best at least made 4/7, still that was not good enough. Besides that, my computer is old and it stops every now and then while converting. So it takes a while converting. Many times I restarted the computer with out finishing a single convert. So I got really frustrated to that. My melancholic personality eats me and my self esteem really goes down when that happen. Anyway, never mind and that's all for now. I don't want to tell more than that.

Recently 01: New Friend

I came home late at night and I got tired from where I've been. I little pissed off but I am controlling myself. When I was at home I went to the computer and logged in to my yahoomail and yahoo messenger. I opened my blog and I do SOP whenever I go online. Same as usual, the loading takes too long so I have time to wash the dishes and clean the house a little bit. It was a little mess since there are no one else cleaning the house except me.

When my yahoo mail was finally loaded, I checked them but there are no interesting new mail except for one. Global Earn Talk has a new contest for a grand prize of $5. Dream 01

Last night I had a dream, it was clear dream and I remember it exactly how it happened but it started from abstract vision. Later it went clear. I was in a school, in the school where took my high school. I just roam around there and just reminiscing my past school days. I went to my favorite places and the place where I pass when I go to class, to the canteen, to the gym and to the gazebo. I stared at the place where I got stock because the CAT (Citizen's Army Training) officer wont let me pass because I was late and/or it is not yet time to enter.

Later I went outside the campus and decided to go home. I have no money then for fare so I just hitch a ride. There are no other vehicles I could find and a cargo truck passed by so I have to ride on that truck. I made a hitch sign but I was ignored. Since the truck was moving slowly, I managed to ride at the back where it is really hard to hold. There is only about 5 to 6 inches platform where I seated and I was holding a small handle just to keep me there. I had difficulty when it started to run faster. The truck is actually going faster which I never thought it would. Sooner I fell of the street and to catch the attention of the driver, I hit the back of his truck very hard so he would hear something and would eventually stop. There he did stop and looked at the back of the truck where he noticed it was open. I was lying on the ground when he closed the back door of his truck, ignore me and went away.

My dream ended there because I woke up. Someone woke me up, my grandfather. I wanted to sleep again to know what happened next but I could not sleep back. I am wondering if there are any signs to that dream. Any ideas?

Friends At Home

We all have friends. I am sure no body here has no friends. At least one? I believe no one has only one friend here but many. We have friends here and there and everywhere. Text here and call there, mails and emails, sometimes chat and sometime face to face conversations.

We usually hang up with our friends outside our respective houses. Usually at malls, favorite places in school, cafés, gazebos, rendezvous, and other places we want to go. Since the very day that my mother applied for a broadband internet connection, started last July 2008, I have been online most of my time. I check my social networking sites quite often. I join forums and signed up on to different websites. I have befriended many people around the world. I met different kinds of people from random worlds. From simple to complicated, and many to mention. Since then also, I open my yahoo messenger as soon as I open my computer and this is also the reason I got many friends online. It is as if talking to a friend on one part of the house - my computer. I have not even seen them in person.

Today, I very often see my friends around with me. My usual friends whom I used to be with. The friends whom I always meet and I always talk to are now become someone I do not talk more often now. Most of us wanted to have a Home Based Job. Who would not want that especially that we are doing paid jobs in the expense of our home? My friend referred to me a client who was looking for a home based online assistant, gave to me the yahoo ID and I begun chatting with the client. He asked me details about me and some skills I have. It was more or less an interview for me. At first he he liked to have me hired and was about to hire me but later he found out that I lack some skills that are necessary to sit on the position he is offering. Later I found out that what the client was looking for was out of my skills and knowledge. Though I was really serious and very much interested of having that job, and willing to learn, where he is offering me good enough amount of pay per hour, I was honest on what I could do. So I just told the client that I needed more experiences on the skills that he is requiring me to have.

In other words, I failed to have that opportunity, an opportunity to work online and an opportunity to expose myself as well. I bid goodbye to the client and told him that I might be able to master the skills he wanted me to have and to qualify on the position he is offering me. So I put "That Was Close" as a title for this post because that was really close of having an online home based job.

Bad Grammar

I went through this blog of mine and check out my post. Do I have a bad grammar or does my blog contain wrong spellings? I checked it through and yes there are, but insignificant. I went on through my grammar, is it that bad? I don't think so. Is my writing skills very poor? nya, I don't think so. That is just how I write it and the text and vocabularies I am using are just basic. I felt bad when someone cannot appreciate my writing abilities, though I did not have an above average grades on my English subjects way back in my college and high school days. But I am not a loser when it comes to writing. Well I must admit that I am not very much dedicated to this blogging thing and so when I post something, I usually do something else and might ruin my focus in what I am writing and I do not go back to what I write to check my grammar and spellings. That is what I don't have. silly me! OK, so whether I like it or not, I have to accept that there are really people whom I cant please and there is only one solution to this problem I have, I must love what I am doing. Give more attention and good focus. Starting on my next post, I am going to do better.

Global Earn Talk

Many of us bloggers usually join forums. I am not sure which forums most of you belong. Me I have a couple of forums that is in my list. One of them is (GET)Global Earn Talk. GET is a Paid to Post forum where you get paid whenever you post something on a thread. The post rate is 0.5 - 3GET$ point per post and it depends on the section where it belongs or wether it is a fun section. 100GET$ points is equal to $1. That is not so much but it has contest too where many have the chance of winning. I have won a couple of times already and I get paid as soon as they have audited my account. As of now I have 1250 posts (February 7, 2009) and have paid me more than $10 already. Do you think they have paid me much? Ya I think so. I cannot get that amount in PTC when I have no referrals so that is just fine for me.

During mid January, I get enthused to watch Avatar, the legend of Aang as the last Air Bender. I could not help myself but to look for ways to watch the entire episodes/book or series and/or the entire story. My mind is playing things related to Avatar and talks so much about air bending, water bending, fire bending and earth bending. Not only that, I also include non-Avatar bending like wood bending, oil bending, tv bending, computer bending, body bending, and all the bending you can name. Rubber bending might be included there.

It all started when my brother and niece watch TV in TV5 with these Sponge Bob Square Pants and Jimmy Neutron talking in Tagalog. Including kiddie show which I am not that familiar with. Then they were watching Aang talking in Tagalog. Its nice to hear that but I like to listen to it better in English, the original dubbed version. Then we started to talk about Aang and things that an Avatar can do. I often tell me sister, " Someone was looking after you,"

She would say, "who is it?"

I would say, " someone from Fire Nation!".

Just recently, I bought a DVD with complete books and episodes of Avatar. Pretty excited to watch the full episodes, it became an Avatar marathon. At first it was smooth flow because the book 1 was totally complete and it was really nice to watch. It really fed my imagination and I like that. toward the end of book 2, sad and became a little annoyed to figure out that book 2 is not complete. Well I have no choice but to finish it but to my surprise, book 3 is not also complete! Arggh! I wish I asked for a reciept when I purchased that DVD so that I could still return it.

Now, I will have this alternative, look for Avatar streaming videos in the internet. Here are some of the links.

Lazy As Always

I have become quite lazy at these times, I have not updated my blog quite often and even my other blog has no recent posts. What have I been doing? well, nothing really. A month ago I joined a paid forum, you can join in here (http://www.globalearntalk.com). I became a little active on the forum with me have over a thousand posts for only a month passed. Since then I loose interest and passion to post new in my blog(s). Besides that, I still do some of my PTC clicks and one pickjack that also pay. Other than that, I have been chatting with my friends all over the world not counting the times when I had not been online in the recent days due to damaged PC which it needed to go to the computer shop. That doesn't look im too busy right? that is why the title of this post is "Lazy As Always" Anyway, I cannot blame myself because I have other things to do. If only I have a laptop so that even if I am not online I could still have the time and faculties to do some stuffs in the computer like composing a post or making a review, etc.

Whew! I hope I can get back to my seat some other days and looking forward to post more on my blogs and also I am looking forward to create a newer blog which I am planning to create.

Im Back!

In some circumstances, it is inevitable that our things and other stuffs or electronic gadgets wont work or even destroyed by no other than ourselves. Sometimes due to accident and sometime old age. In my case it just got busted and did not work. So now I am asking for apology that my blog has been no posts for several weeks since during the past few weeks - that was about Christmas season, my computer just turned off without me doing anything to it. It can be compared to a person who just fainted under the heat of the sun.

Last week, few days after new year, I sent my computer to a computer shop to have a check up and to repair it as well. It took several days because I have no budget.

Now I have my computer back with internet, I can posts again and provide some updates about the GMA show.

Whew I missed a lot!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I believed it is not too late to greet everyone a Merry Christmas! Besides nobody could read this at Christmas day! I have noticed that I have a very low traffic compared to my other blog I have created.

Christmas is the season of giving as many would say. It is also the season of love. Many do not know what Christmas is about. I recently interviewed one Christmas Carolers aged about 10 below, one night:

After they sang Christmas Carols, I asked them: "What are you doing?"

One child said "singing Christmas Carols"

"Why are you singing Christmas Carols?"

"We want to earn money"

And I added, besides that, Christmas is not only about earning money but also it is the time of giving and sharing. That is because during that time our Lord Jesus Chrits was born. I gave stories about what Christmas is all about and they understood.

After some short story telling with those kids, I soon give them some coins for their efforts in singing Christmas Carols and sometime I give candies and some foods.

But there are some who are abusive to me and they come back most of the time.

Well. That was during December. Now it is already January 2009. I have not been posting here on my blog because of one reason, my computer got busted down and it went to the computer shop. I got sad and become very eager to get is fixed because I have so many things to do in the internet.

Many happened during those times before my computer is fixed but I can no longer recall it. I wished I had post it on my blog to have a remembrance of those things.

So much for that. Check out mu next posts later. Thank you, though I have a few reader that is ok...

Something in my mind

There is something in my mind that I could not express. There is something telling me but I could not hear the voice. I wanted to listen but I hear nothing. I want to know what is deep inside my mind. It is telling me something that I wish I would know but I could not figure it out. I wish some one will tell me because I am really puzzled. Maybe I am just tired and I need rest.

Maybe some of you have experienced the feeling I have felt. I know its kind of weird to tell this, but I really want to know what is behind my mind. Its just that there is something that I want to do and there is something that I am looking for. Maybe that is the word, there is something I am looking for but I do not know what I am looking for. Could someone please help me?

I am a melancholic type of person, melancholic people are most often feel that way, no wonder I felt that. But that is not an excuse. I think there is some thing more about that - being melancholic and I need to figure it out. The problem is how to begin and where, what to do and what do I need to know? I think its hopeless even if I will consider the fact of being a melancholic.

To those who do not know what melancholic is, I will just state a few and research of your own. Melancholy is one of the four types of personality called Temperament. There are four common/major classifications of temperament: (a)Choleric (b)Melacholic (c)Sanguin and (d) ______ I forgot the last one. Deng! Who ever can tell me the fourth one (by sending me an email: piojunbabia@yahoo.com), I will do what ever you want as long as it is possible for me. Post a comment to this post that you have sent me an email containing an answer. Please.

Anyway, so thats it, that is what I feel right now. Can anyone please help me about what I feel now? Its not just a feeling but a reality of my identity.

Like A River That Flows

I am not sure where this river is. I believe this is Davao. Besides, I did not take this photo. I am not quite sure who took this photo but I know who owned this. He is my friend whom I have not met for almost a year already. His name is Herbert and he is one of my close friend, in fact best friend. But we have not heard from each other lately. About two days ago, he sent me a private message on friendster asking how I was doing. I replied and I did not received his reply yet. He is now busy with his work as an electrical engineer somewhere in Bugo. I miss his company and I wish we could spend our time together again.

Cebu Invasion

One of the most famous land mark of Cebu City - the Magellan's Cross, is one of the pit stop we had on you tour to Cebu City. The place was so clean and nice, with so many tourist both Foreign and Filipino like us as well who took pictures of this nice place. Not only nice but also significant in the eyes of historians since this area is also a historic place.

This photo, starring me, is a proof and most of all a remembrance that I have been to this place. This will be one of my most treasured photo in my life. I mean one. With a burned image of the Blessed Mother behind me and the big Cross which was one of the attractions of the place including the paintings on the ceiling which completes the scene. This photo, by my sister, is perfectly shot and I like how is was being shot except for the sun.

Behind this historical spot is another beautiful place full of the grandeur of Catholicism. The Church of Santo Niño. The Church is old but I do not know when it was built. It has traditional setup naming the altar (but not the altar table), the images and statues of the saints, and the architectural setup of the church has been maintained.

I like the place very much. I think and I believe that this is my most favorite place in Cebu not counting those I have not visited. Beside this place, we have been to SM.... whew, not much place. I thought we will be staying there for day but unfortunately, Our stay lasted for more than 12 hours only.

We arrived in Cebu International Airport at around 7:30 in the morning. Our plans is to go to Mactan Island to see Andres Bonifacio there live! Oh, I'm sorry I mean Lapulapu, standing naked. Unfortunately, we had no transportation and and so we went to the house instead where my sister is boarding. We wasted so much time there. Wasting time eating. Laugh Out Loud! We do not have much food!

After that we went to anonymous place. Anonymous because I don't want to mention place. Place like SM, Shopping Mall, Shoe Mart, Super Maket, Sulod sa Merkado, Sa Min, Si Mario, Super Mario, Super Man, Sa Market, So Many more.... we wasted time riding a public vehicle and traffic is unforgivable even with confession. I was so sleepy all day since I never sleep the night before that.

To make this short story a little shorter, we (my father, mother and me excluding my 2 sisters and niece) went to the pier or ship port, or ship terminal or whatever you call it at around 6:30pm to sail home towards Cagayan de Oro. The ship will depart at 8pm. We had dinner inside. Arrived home at 4:30am. bleh!

Trip to Cebu

I will go to Cebu City tomorrow together with my family. Our departure time is 6am. That is December 10, 2008. This will be my second time in Cebu. What do I expect to see there? Well I expect to see the same place since my last visit was less than a month ago.

My first visit in Cebu was last March during Holy week, I mean after Holy Week, that was Easter Monday. I spent my week end in Iloilo with intense silence since I was spending my time on a seminary.... I am not a seminarian, I was just invited to visit the place to spend the holy week there. I was good but the noise of silence broke my eardrum. It was fun though.

Now, my second visit to Cebu, I think it would be a nice one since I will be with my family and with my sister working there. Actually I don't know what to expect. I will just go there and see for myself.

I Am Changing My Blogger Template.

One of the primary reasons why I don't post much or don't post much often on my blog is because, I don't like my template anymore... (hmmm...that's not a reason....that's an alibi lol) Besides of being busy out side the internet ( I mean in the real world) I am also doing some other things aside from blogging...I'll just keep it a secret and if you really want to know why, what makes me busy in the internet... uhmmm then ask me privately... my email address is piojunbabia@yahoo.com. My YM is also online but not too often, don't worry I can receive your message because I check it daily.

Another factor of not posting post in this blog more often is that, I feel discourage when i see that no one is patronizing my post nor my blog. I think I have no readers and I felt like this blog seems to be useless and worthless. Maybe I do not know how to write well and maybe my penmanship is bad. Or maybe I have a bad breath? I don't think so. Or maybe ugly template...lol... I dont know... So that's it....

So another that's it.... that's it because I am changing my template...so some gadgets will be removed...

Now I have removed most of my gadgets... and I failed to install my new template..Gonna look for another one....

I have created a new blog. It is called http://gma7show.blogspot.com. I have created that blog because I watch this tv more often times and it seems that when I watch some programs, I can't stop myself commenting so.... here is a few on the "about" of that blog.

This blog is about the shows in GMA7. I am certified Kapuso and I watch GMA 7 a couple of hours a day. Sometimes when I watch TV, comments regarding the show is inevitable and more often I find it hard to tell or express those comments of suggestion or any other with regards to that so I have created this blog for that purposes.

I am a GMA watcher, though I also watch often times on other network, I spend much more time on watching GMA 7. So this blog is about my comments and everything about the GMA 7 tv shows.

In relation to my previous post entitled My Cath ol ic Faith which was a poem composed by none other than myself, I am featuring a blog whose creator are Traditional Catholics from Cagayan de Oro City and that happens to be my place.... Yes I joined them in fact I am with them. They are also members of the Legion of Mary in which I myself is a devout Marian.

The Society of Saint Pius X is a priestly congregation founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre who has no really intention of establishing a priestly congregation. But for the request of the many who are devoted to the Catholic faith wanted him to stand up and eventually founded a congregation. The purpose of this priestly congregation is to preserve the Catholic tradition and to continue the Catholic priestly ministry and stand againsts the modern errors of Vatican. The society has never invented something new with regards to Catholic faith in morals and doctrine thus promoting the infallible doctrines of Catholic faith.

The Society of Saint Pius X in Cagayan de Oro started about 2004 and it has been 4 years now that the society is celebrating the older version of the Mass which is called the Tridentine Mass. Their group has slowly gaining popularity since they also have a friendster account(http://profiles.friendster.com/traditionalcatholicssspx) to invite people to the Mass. Survivor Philippines

Who amongst you do watch Survivor Philippines?(Among Filipinos of course, or including non - Filipinos who are a fan of Survivor in any country) For me I say that there is something wrong with that reality TV and I believe that it is somewhat deceiving. And who are deceived? Us of course.

Before the official airing of Survivor Philippines in GMA7, the list of castaways has been introduced to us through GMA7 of course. All castaways are from different parts of the Philippines and we noticed that there are Cebuanos and tagalogs.

After i think 21 days(?) of survival in the island, many things happen. More information on these sites: SurvivorPhilippines.com(blog) SurvivorPhilippines.org(blog) SurvivorPhilippines.tv (official website), the normal ups and downs in the show and the inevitable conflicts between each castaways. But there is one man that caught my attention. Who is this man named Mar lon Carmen? In the show, he is showing a clever and a bad image. And yet he survived that long. I don't question his long survival in the show. But my question is, why is he showing a negative attitude towards each castaway and to many viewers in the Philippines as well. Have you seen how he is interviewed during each episode? He seems to be unique in the show.

As far as I know, the producers have planned to get 16 castaways only. Later, they have decided to add two more castaways to make it eighteen. For me I think that they only needed one castaway. A castaway that is only "add on" to the show. But to make it even, they made it to add two more to sum up to 18. This "add on" character is a "CON ARTIST" or confidence artist added to spice up the show. I am referring to no other than Marlon. I really believe that he is just an actor inside the show. Look at him how he acted and his internal behavior, that is not quite normal for a normal castaway. Believe me he is just an actor!

Today, Friday November 7, 2008. Time for voting out one castaway on the night of tribal council. The votes are pointing to Marlon vs Kiko evenly with four votes each. The last vote will be declared on Monday, Nov10. I am willing to bet that Kiko is out of the game! I also believe that the votes are manipulated by the Survivor staff to make the show thrilling!

I might be wrong with my intuition, but I am 95% sure about this. If ever I am wrong, I will edit this post and add notes for my apology to Marlon and to the Survivor staff.

I have posted some days ago about the life of Barack Obama. As far as I know, Obama is leading in the surveys for US presidential candidate. Even in months ago, his name is already fragrant in many sorts of media most especially the Internet. Some months ago, while I was not yet blogging and all I do in the Internet is just surfing, searching and do many sorts of Internet stuffs. I usually go to YouTube and watch many videos. One time I came to a channel of Mr Dan Brown on YouTube and I notice he is somewhat 'endorsing' the presidential candidate Obama. Here is one of his recent videos about why he is voting Barack Obama as the president:

Obama's name is already spread all over the world via Internet and I have watched in the News that Obama spent much more money in doing campaigns in whatever ways. Another thing is that this Dan Brown has influenced much on his viewers and if you try to see how much viewers he gain in You Tube, the number is significant. What I am trying to say is that Obama has made a good campaigning strategies compared to McCain. Other than that, Obama's platform is quite better than McCain (subjective point of view) though McCain is more experienced in most things considering the fact that he is a war veteran, etc.

Life is ironic. Look at Bush, he gained much votes from American citizens, disregarding the possibility of cheat, but on the latter part of his term, many hated him and wanted him ousted! Would Obama be like Bush later? or will he do better or worse than Bush? Nah! what ever it is, I don't care because politics are always dirty whether or not the politician's intentions are good or not. Corruption is inevitable.

It is sad to know that the Feast of All Saints is understood differently be so many people especially by Catholics. I really don't know what they think about this feast but for clarification, I give this short background about this feast.

All Saints' Day (also called All Hallows or Hallowmas), often shortened to All Saints, is a feast celebrated on November 1 in Western Christianity, and on the first Sunday after Pentecost in Eastern Christianity in honour of all the saints, known and unknown. I am an Experienced Driver

I am an 'experienced driver'. What do I mean by this statement? I also call this day, October 30 as the fifth anniversary of being an 'experienced driver'. Yes today, I am celebrating my 5th Anniversary for being such. Why? why? and why? I don't want to tell coz I feel ashamed.. hehehe

Five years ago I was driving (my father's) motor bike, later we share the same bike because he used 4 wheel most of the time, so I am using the two-wheel. A Yamaha DT, color red and some few sticker designs and some cool stuffs decorated. I am a motor enthusiast (I was) and I drive a little fast and I can put my speed at the highest depending on the motor's speed limit. I don't drag race but I race with many motorist in the highway. Although I must admit that I drive very proud and confident, though I am not a really a big guy, I am pretty sure that I drive with extra care and with total vigilance and of course watchful eyes.

On that day, an unexpected private Jeep made a quick U turn with out making a signal. With my super speed, the brake won't catch the distance and I hit his bumper and broke my leg, my right leg and disabled me to walk for about half a year or more. I was rushed to the hospital. I thought I'd be losing my leg but it was fixed.

The experience that I had made me realize that maybe I was too proud or over confident in driving. Maybe it was a lesson for me to drive slower. Five years had already passed now and somehow, the memory of that incident is slowly vanishing. I mean the trauma is vanishing but the memory will always be there until I die.

At this moment when the US election is fast approaching, the intensity of political campaigns have been raised by these two US presidential candidates. Statistics count that Obama is in lead and most probably will win in the US president's chair.

I really don't have political inclination and I am not even knowledgeable in our local politics counting that I also am not involving myself in school's student government ie. not giving votes or any participation to student government. Bit Defender Anti Virus

A friend suggested to me that I need to have a new post on my blog and he suggested that I should feature about the anti virus I am now using with my impressions and my satisfactions regarding my anti virus. Some months ago, I am not sure what anti virus to use. I have Norton, AVG, PC-cilllin and many others. Just recently, another friend of mine asked me to rate something on his poll. The poll was asking: What do you think is the best anti-virus? unfortunately I was not able to follow up the poll result becuase he deleted or renamed his url blog - I am not sure what happened.

Prior to answering his poll, he asked me personally, what anti virus I am presently using? I said, Avira because it was free and suggested by another friend. So he asked me to try BitDefender. I asked "why?" "try and see!" was his answer. So I did tried BitDefender.

I am Reformating my PC

My PC is running slow and it is affecting my internet speed connection. I have installed too many unnecessary programs and it also crawls down the speed of my PC. In the previous days I was downloading vidoes and it will take me only about 20minutes to download a 100MB file and now, it wont even proceed to 20MB download complete. So I can no longer download a movie as of now. I have no other solutions in my mind to resolve this problem o my PC but to format it.

Heroes - my Favorite

Heroes Season 3 or Volume 3 had already been aired in NBC premiered last September 22, 2008. This TV series is my favorite TV show above all list. I like it very much because it enables my imagination to play like a kid thinking about super natural powers childlikely. Since the start during when I have discovered this and watched the first season/volume until season 2 in DVD, I watch it uncontrolably straight and almost without a break. Watch it like a movie marathon and it doesn't tire me. :)

Heroes Season 3 is now aired weekly on Mondays. Now I have made short summary per episode (see I'm really a great fan for this) on my other blog. It can be read here. I don't watch it on NBC instead I download it from some sites http://thecoolwebsite.co.uk once every episode. I also download weekly because they upload it weekly since it is aired weekly.

I remember in my younger days listening to this song. I don't even understand what it meant but I really like its tune and melody. I think, if my memory is working well, I started to hear this song when I was about six or seven years old. It was a long way ago and still this song remains my favorite even until now. Though I have many other more favorites, this one is one of those. This song I think will never die for this is written with true sincerity of heart by its author, maybe Kenny Rogers himself. Producers Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto developed the project in 2003, with a treatment written by DeSanto.
